MMP updates

Hey there friend!

Since starting this blog a few things have occurred that I think need some updating and perhaps a bit of an explanation. 

* First of all, Maribel is no longer an orphan! You can read about this surprising news on my post - Bittersweet News

 * Hubby and I started a blog together {my third, his first} when we were advocating for Tobie during RR's 2012 Christmas Angel Tree event. I finally decided that the upkeep for three places was way more than I could handle. I didn't want to loose anything from that place so I packed up the posts from Helping This One and moved them over here at Miss Maribel's Place.{thank you blogger for making it so easy peasy to do}

* Lastly, after much thought, I'm going to use this place of mine in bloggy land to highlight some of the quilts, totes and pillows I make. You may be asking, "How does that tie in with your purpose for this place?"

I understand you asking that question since I've asked that of myself.  So, here is what I've decided -

The thing is, I really want to share with you the joy and fun I have creating the quilts, pillows and totes. Oh,  I guess I could share it over at my Finding Hope & Joy place. However, I've found that many times, the things I've made have been given to help a family raise the funds needed to adopt. So, I think it really does fit in best right here. As I share what I've made and donated, I'll also keep you up-to-date with the family I'm making it for and their adoption progress.

Plus, when I {Lord willing} open my esty shop, it will tie in nicely with all of this. Not only in the matching name and design, but also with the hope to use some of what I earn from the sale of my products to help families who are adopting.

So there you have it. Glad I've gotten this straightened out. I hate things to be up-in-the-air and disorganized.
